Trowbridge Town Hall Trust was formed just over a decade ago by a handful of local residents wanting to demonstrate how an abandoned Town Hall could become a major community asset. Ten years on, and now partners in the National Theatre’s Public Acts initiative, the Town Hall is just about to embark on a £10million refurbishment that will be completed in the Spring of 2025, making it a leading incubator for creative practice in the South-West. During our temporary closure, we will be offering two major community outreach programmes, identifying and nurturing young talent.
We are currently wanting to recruit a Finance Officer, initially working a three-day week, most of which will be from home, with the possibility of stepping up to a full-time, more senior role, six months prior to the re-opening of the Town Hall.
Annual salary for a three-day week – £18,000
