Moo Music is a fun, friendly, and interactive music and multi-sensory class for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play (and learn without realising it!). Each week, with the help of Maggie Moo and the other adorable Moo Music characters, we enjoy the fabulously catchy original Moo Music songs, written to help your child learn through play. We sing, we moo’ve, we enjoy a wide range of sensory play, we play hunting and sorting games, do silly dances, watch puppet shows, play with a fantastic range of lovely instruments, and generally have lots of Moosical fun!
Sessions are delivered by Gemma, who is a qualified primary school teacher and keen musician.
‘I have ten years classroom experience and lots of experience teaching music to primary aged children and in a range of musical events. I play and teach the flute and saxophone and my main passion is playing these instruments in Big Bands. I am also a Mum to a 4 year old boy and 6 year old girl, both of whom adore singing and dancing and I have loved introducing them to the Moo Music songs, which they have great fun with!’
The Town Hall is a perfect venue for families to enjoy Moo Music, The room is bright and airy with great acoustics to enjoy all of our songs. There is plenty of room to dance and see our bubbles and parachute fly high! Being close to the town centre means parents and carers can continue to enjoy their morning with a friend by visiting the café, moving onto the soft play or playing in the park!’ – Gemma, Moo Music.
